manta bass and guitar

The Walnut version of the Manta Bass and 6 string are now ready for fretting before the necks will be glued in. We decided to change the deco to some extremely elaborate, instead of the Mahogany pommelé, we managed to get hold of rare Arctic Mazur Birch, which gives the contrast we want.
The backlids will be made of Walnut. The electronic cavity lids are the exact piece from the body, and a support piece is routed to be installed from top, before the topdeco is glued in.

the front of the neck has been routed out using a ø16 bit router.

the front of the body has been made and it can now be turned over so that the slot for the neck can be made. the body is made by two wallnut pieces glued together in center. we are using our vacuum table for this operation.

the trussrod slot has been made and ibenholt fretboard has been glued on. we are making one more manta guitar since we have one in order.
